Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

The insertion of very short, fine needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation. This can be done with a Microneedling pen (most effective), roller or dermastamp. The premise of microneedling is to create a series of small insertions that create a healing response by the body which stimulates collagen production and new skin cells. Depending on the depth of the needle penetration, some studies indicate that this can offer skin rejuvenation levels from the simple enhancement of product absorption by up to 3000% to the clinical treatment of scars, wrinkles and hair loss.

Some Microneedling data points

  • Microneedling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, enlarged pores, brown spots, stretch marks and pigment issues.
  • Microneedling allows up to 3000% more product absorption.
  • Microneedling can be done on the scalp to promote hair grown or can help to rid the body of scars and stretch marks.
  • Microneedling creates micro channels in the skin. When those channels are created, the skin’s own repair response is to start producing collagen and elastin in order to control the injury that was just created. This makes our skin tighter and smoother.
  • Unlike microdermabrasion which removes layers of the skin; Microneedling creates channels in the skin for products to be absorbed and collagen/elastin to be produced.
  • It is only a 30 min treatment that can be done once a month on a lunch break.
  • We use all holistic herbal topicals from Acumicro. Our apple stem cells are shown in studies to promote facial stem cell rejuvenation over 80%.
  • Results can be seen and felt even after the first treatment.
  • Results are shown to last between 4-6 years in research.
  • Recent research shows a shallow treatment of only 0.5mm shows the maximum results. Treatments are gentle and painless.
  • Hyalouronic acid used with Microneedling is all natural and holds 1,000 times it’s weight in water. This allows for deep hydration, nourishment and rejuvenation.
  • Microneedling is a 2,000 year old tested treatment originating in ancient China. Emperors who wanted to live forever used this technique to remain youthful.
  • All of our premium needling tips are single use. We use some of the thinnest stainless steel needles on the market.

What is Nanoneedling?

  • Both the Nano and Microneedling treatments use a pen like device that oscillates a tip up and down to stimulate a skin reaction. The both induce cell turnover, serum infusion and provoke the healing process that results in skin transformation.
  • Nanoneedling however, works slightly different than microneedling. It does use the same type of oscillating motion to treat the skin but the cartridge used encompasses silicone tips rather than tiny needles. These microscopic hairlike cones separate the cells within the epidermis to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. Nanoneedling only affects the epidermis, treating within the upper .15mm of the skin. The benefits of this serum infusion treatment include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation and an immediate skin glow without downtime. This treatment can be done weekly to exfoliate the skin.

Benefits of NanoNeedling

  • Allows up to 97% absorption of product
  • Uses your own body’s repair process to combat wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, stretch marks and skin blemishes. If you are concerned about fine lines and wrinkles, swelling, sagging skin than NanoNeedling is for you. If your skin concerns are more concentrated than MicroNeedling would be a more effective option.
