About Michelle Belanger, A.P., LSW, RYT

 

  • Michelle is a licensed Acupuncture Physician in Florida and licensed Acupuncturist in Maine.
  • Michelle has been certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
  • Michelle has a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Studies Certificate from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Hallandale, Florida
  • Michelle has a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from the University of Maine in Orono, Maine and 1 year of study in the Physical Therapy program at Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT.
  • Certified by Tao House as a Level 1 Medical Qi Gong Practitioner
  • Currently enrolled in Pacific College’s FACE program for additional cutting edge certification in Cosmetic Acupuncture

  • Completed 2 year Clinical Integration Course with Lonny Jarrett, the author of Nourishing Destiny and The Clinical Practice of Chinese Medicine.
  • Extensive work experience in the field of HIV, STD’s and addictions from her work in Public Health for the City of Portland.
  • Work experience with adolescents, families, indigent and elder populations.
  • Certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy (AIT) which is a therapy of injecting natural therapeutic substances such as homeopathic remedies like Traumeel or Vitamin B-12 for specific wellness needs. We used Acupoint Injection Therapy (AIT) techniques in many of our weight loss protocols, cosmetic protocols and also B12 vitamin injections.
